Terms of Service

These terms govern access to Padmi’s website, installable walkthrough service, and synthetic demonstrations.

Effective September 1, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Padmi (“Padmi,” “we,” or “us”) governing the Padmi website, walkthrough service, installable script, and related demos and support (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use Padmi for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. An order form, data processing agreement, or other written agreement signed by Padmi may add to or replace portions of these Terms for the subject it covers.

2. What Padmi provides

Padmi provides AI-assisted guidance inside customer-controlled web applications. A user can ask how to complete a task, and Padmi uses a bounded semantic representation of the live interface to propose and highlight one relevant action at a time. Guidance may adapt when the interface, permissions, route, or user behavior changes.

Padmi is not a remote browser or screen-control service. It highlights and explains; it does not click, type, upload, submit, purchase, delete, publish, pay, or message for users. Users remain responsible for reviewing and performing every action.

3. Customer installation and responsibilities

A customer that installs or administers Padmi must:

  • install Padmi only on applications and origins it owns or is authorized to control;
  • provide legally required notices, permissions, and choices to its users and maintain an accurate privacy notice;
  • configure allowed origins, documentation, suggestions, themes, and action policy accurately and keep administrative access secure;
  • ensure that its instructions, content, and intended uses are lawful and do not violate third-party rights; and
  • evaluate Padmi before deployment and maintain appropriate human review for consequential workflows.

Public application IDs identify an installation and are not secrets. Server credentials and other secrets must not be placed in browser configuration or submitted in a Padmi question.

4. AI guidance and user decisions

AI-generated guidance may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for a particular situation. The live customer application controls when it conflicts with Padmi guidance. Users must inspect the interface, confirm the intended target, and use their own judgment.

Padmi is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, security, compliance, or other professional advice. Destructive or externally visible actions remain user-controlled and should be independently confirmed.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the Service unlawfully, deceptively, to discriminate, or to violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights;
  • use Padmi on an application without authority or to monitor people without required notice or consent;
  • submit passwords, payment values, authentication tokens, private keys, or other secrets to Padmi;
  • bypass rate limits, origin checks, access controls, tenant policy, privacy filters, or security measures;
  • probe for vulnerabilities, introduce malware, interfere with the Service, or use it to facilitate harmful actions;
  • reverse engineer or copy the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as an authorized customer deployment or with Padmi's written permission.

6. Customer data and privacy

As between the parties, a customer retains its rights in questions, documentation, configuration, and application context submitted to the Service (“Customer Data”). The customer grants Padmi a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and display Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service and meet legal obligations.

Each party will comply with applicable privacy and data-protection law. Padmi handles Customer Data as described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable data processing agreement.

7. Padmi technology and feedback

Padmi and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, models, prompts, validation systems, documentation, and original content. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred.

If you provide feedback, you allow Padmi to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

8. Third-party services and customer applications

The Service may interoperate with customer applications and use third-party infrastructure, AI, embedding, security, support, and communications providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms. Padmi is not responsible for a customer application, its content, its availability, or actions a user takes in it.

9. Synthetic demos and pre-release features

The AWS experience is a synthetic, browser-local demonstration. It does not access AWS accounts, AWS credentials, or AWS APIs, and its data and actions are simulated. AWS names and marks belong to their respective owners; the demo does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

We may label features as beta, preview, experimental, evaluation, or pre-release. Those features may change or be discontinued and may be less reliable than generally available features. Do not use them for production or consequential activity unless Padmi expressly agrees in writing.

10. Fees

Fees, usage allowances, payment terms, and subscription periods, if any, are stated in the applicable order form or checkout flow. Unless required by law or stated otherwise in writing, fees are non-refundable and exclude taxes. You are responsible for applicable taxes other than taxes on Padmi's net income.

11. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential. The receiving party will use it only to perform or exercise rights under the parties' agreement and will protect it using reasonable care. These duties do not apply to information that is public without breach, already lawfully known, independently developed, or lawfully received without restriction. Legally compelled disclosure is permitted after notice when lawful.

12. Service changes and suspension

We may modify the Service and may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, legal requirement, Terms violation, nonpayment, harm to users or third parties, or material operational issue. When practical, we will provide notice and limit a suspension to the affected portion of the Service.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Padmi disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that guidance will achieve a particular result.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Padmi and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from the Service. Padmi's total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Padmi for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so they apply only to the extent permitted by law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Either party may terminate as provided in an order form or other written agreement. We may terminate access for a material Terms violation, security threat, unlawful use, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those concerning ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, and disputes.

16. Disputes and applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Padmi's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the law where you live requires otherwise. Disputes must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction over Padmi unless mandatory law provides another forum. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

17. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when legally required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Questions about these Terms and general support may be sent to team@padmi.ai.
